Welcome to Rodman Farms

We strive to raise and sell quality Katahdin breeding stock that will perform on the farm and in the show ring.  In addition to visual appraisal for structural soundness, we are members of the National Sheep Improvement Program (NSIP) and use Enhanced Breeding Values (EBVs) to help us select stock to be retained and sold as breeding stock.  We are working to improve number of pounds weaned per ewe, muscling, and growth rates while maintaining good hair coats.  

Pictured above are the Champion Ram (Lauden Acres) and Champion Ewe (Salmon Run Farms) we purchased at the 2023 Midwest Stud Ram Sale.  On February 1, 2024, twin ram and ewe lambs were born from this mating. We are having fun watching these lambs grow!
